Seamless Steel Gas Pipe
Seamless Steel Gas Pipe
Seamless pipe is used on central gas mains where pressure and durability requirements are higher, providing a homogeneous path without a longitudinal weld seam that could be a weak point.

What is it?
Size and wall thickness are determined by flow rate, route length, allowable pressure drop and operating pressure. Joints are welded or made by the project's approved method, corrosion protection suited to the installation environment — exposed or buried — is applied, and the line is pressure-tested before backfilling or finishing.
Features
- Suited to main gas lines
- No longitudinal weld seam
- Sizes and thicknesses per design calculations
- Corrosion protection suited to the environment
- Pressure testing before backfill or finishing
- Long service life with correct maintenance
Applications
- Villas and residential compounds
- Restaurants, cafés and central kitchens
- Hotels, halls and hospitality facilities
- Hospitals and educational facilities
- Bakeries and food factories
- Industrial facilities and central gas stations

Frequently asked questions
Can gas pipes be buried directly?
Burial requires corrosion protection, suitable sleeving or backfill, a warning tape and a route documented on the drawings, with pressure testing before backfilling.
