Gas Filter DN65
A gas filter is a simple, low-cost but critical protection element: it stops manufacturing, installation and corrosion debris from reaching regulators, meters and valves, where it causes internal leakage, pressure instability or measurement error.
What is it?
The filter is fitted upstream of the regulator or meter in the correct flow direction, and sized so it does not add excessive pressure loss at peak load. Sufficient clearance must be provided to remove the element for cleaning or replacement during scheduled maintenance.
