Medical Gas System Design
Design is where a system's capacity and lifetime behaviour are decided. We start from the real departmental requirement — terminal unit counts, gas types and diversity — and build source selection, pipe sizing, isolation points and alarm coverage on top of it, so the construction package can be executed, approved and later tested without field guesswork.

Technical reference
We design to the reference approved for the project — such as NFPA 99 or HTM 02-01 and the requirements of the authorities concerned. All technical values (pressures, sizes, capacities) come from that project's approved design, not from generic figures.
Design for extensions and existing systems
For an existing facility we start with a survey of the installed network and an estimate of its remaining capacity before proposing any extension, so a new area is not loaded onto a source that cannot carry it. Survey findings are documented within the design deliverable.

As early as possible. Source room location, pipeline routes and service risers affect architectural and structural design, and changing them later is expensive.
